Google Cloud Partnership Manager

Job Summary:

D3V is a Google Cloud Partner seeking a Partnership Manager to drive strategic collaborations, manage partner relationships, and support business growth with Google Cloud. This role requires strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills to ensure successful partnerships and smooth interactions with external stakeholders. Experience with Google Cloud Services and Google Specialization programs would be a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary operational contact for cloud partners, ensuring smooth communication and alignment of goals and processes.
  • Collaborate with alliance managers to develop business plans, obtain necessary credentials, and drive partner-focused solutions.
  • Oversee the partner ecosystem, ensuring timely execution of commitments, joint offerings, and go-to-market strategies. This includes the development and execution of joint Go-To-Market (GTM) plans with partners, aligning strategies for market penetration and customer acquisition.
  • Support the implementation of cloud-related programs, including joint marketing initiatives, product enablement, and training sessions.
  • Track and report on cloud partner metrics, such as sales performance, cloud adoption, and service delivery effectiveness.
  • Drive engagement with Google sales teams and partner programs to explore and develop business opportunities. This includes actively pursuing lead generation opportunities through the Google Cloud partner ecosystem.
  • Represent the company in Google Partner Advisor meetings, staying informed on industry trends and partnership developments.
  • Manage Google Specialization programs, ensuring compliance with requirements, tracking certifications, and maintaining customer case studies. This involves managing all aspects of Google Specialization, including preparing Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring all criteria are met, and actively developing and maintaining a portfolio of compelling customer case studies.
  • Coordinate with Google representatives and internal teams to validate specialization criteria and achieve partner program goals.
  • Address and track Google support-related queries, ensuring timely resolution and internal updates.
  • Oversee LinkedIn engagement for leadership, fostering connections with potential clients and partners. This also includes leveraging LinkedIn for outbound lead generation activities.
  • Maintain strong visibility within Google’s partner ecosystem through proactive follow-ups and strategic engagement.
  • Implement and execute inbound and outbound lead generation strategies, leveraging digital marketing efforts, content creation, and targeted outreach to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement lead generation campaigns aligned with our Google Cloud partnership.
  • Manage the creation and maintenance of necessary partnership-related documentation, including SOWs, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.

Requirements

  • Experience in partnership management, business development, or sales operations with a strong focus on lead generation activities, preferably in the cloud computing or technology sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies with partners.
  • Strong understanding of cloud ecosystems, with familiarity in Google Cloud Services and Google Specialization programs being a plus.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, partners, and Google representatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track, measure, and report on partner performance metrics and cloud adoption trends.
  • Strategic thinking skills to drive go-to-market initiatives and optimize partner engagement.
  • Proficiency in CRM and partner management tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, or Google Partner Portal).
  • Experience in LinkedIn management and engagement for business networking and client outreach.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement lead generation strategies, including leveraging partner ecosystems and inbound/outbound techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address partner support queries, resolve issues, and ensure smooth execution of partnership initiatives.
  • Familiarity with cloud-related marketing strategies and partner enablement programs is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with and experience in managing partnership-related processes and documentation, such as Statements of Work (SOWs), Deal Acceleration and Funding Approvals, and the development of customer case studies.
  • Proven experience managing Google Specialization programs, including navigating requirements, tracking certifications, and developing customer case studies.
