I’m hiring for a remote, seasonal position that involves transcribing handwritten names and addresses into a browser-based web app. No downloads, just need a decent internet connection and a computer.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Looking at handwritten names and addresses
- Typing them into a search bar and attempting to match them to database entries
- If you don't find a match, notate why (illegible, duplicate, etc.)
Requirements:
- Fast typing speed
- Ability to read a variety of handwriting styles
- High attention to detail (spelling, formatting)
- Access to a computer + stable internet (phone won't cut it)
- Good availability when work goes live (often short bursts of high-volume work)
- Must be based in USA
Payment:
- Pay is $0.05 per completed task
- Efficient workers can make $9-$18/hour if they can match between 10 and 20 seconds
This is perfect for fast typists, students, or anyone looking to make extra money from home with a flexible, performance-based role
