We’re hiring a Senior Engineering Manager at Stellic, a fast-growing Series A startup that's tackling higher ed’s $200B+ dropout crisis. We already work with 75+ universities globally (Cornell, Columbia, Ohio State, etc.) and we’re scaling hard this year. • Location: Hybrid – 3x/week onsite in San Mateo, CA
• Schedule: 8am–5pm PT, with Monday All Hands at 8am
• Comp: $220K–$260K + equity
• Stage: Series A, PMF ✅, team of 65 now → 100 by EOY

👩‍💻 What You'll Own:

• Manage 2–3 cross-functional squads (Full Stack + Front-End, 3–7 engineers each)
• Lead engineering execution, delivery, and performance across US + Pakistan
• Coach and grow engineers + tech leads
• Partner with Product & Design to define and deliver key initiatives
• Make architecture decisions that support scale and performance
• Foster a high-trust, high-output team culture

✅ You Should Have:

• 5+ years in an engineering management role
• Experience managing global/distributed teams
• 1+ startup and 1+ big co. on your resume
• 2+ years at each company
• Strong technical judgment and leadership
• Excellent stakeholder and team communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree or higher (company requirement)
