Hey all,
I’m looking for a Social Media Manager to help grow a new content brand focused on personal finance, career growth, and lifestyle—especially for younger professionals in or around tech.
The goal is to launch in July and grow to 10k Instagram followers by December, starting from zero. We’ll also post across TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Publishing short-form video content (3–4x/week)
- Writing captions and optimizing posts with relevant tags and keywords
- Staying on top of trends and identifying timely content opportunities
- Suggesting growth strategies and ways to improve reach across platforms
- Managing content scheduling (Vista Social experience is a bonus)
- Reviewing analytics and making informed content tweaks week to week
- Collaborating with a small team (content manager + editor)
Must-Have:
- Strong knowledge of Instagram growth strategy (organic + paid)
- Understanding of SEO basics, hashtags, and platform optimization
- Familiarity with my niche: finance, career, lifestyle, tech-adjacent
- Ability to track performance and adjust accordingly
- Experience using Notion for content planning and workflow
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Vista Social (for scheduling and analytics)
- Comfortable using Discord for team communication
- Knowledge of how to test/run basic IG/TikTok ad campaigns
This is a long-term role—ideally 6–12 months—with room to grow as the brand grows.
