We’re creating a bold, expressive, and emotionally rich children’s book series called Hudson and Tobor — about a curious little boy and his lovable robot friend learning about emotional intelligence and wonder.

We’re looking for a freelance illustrator to bring this story to life — starting with Book 1 and continuing through the 10-book series.

✨ This is an ideal opportunity for an emerging artist looking to grow their portfolio, get published, and become part of a meaningful creative brand.

What You’ll Get:

• Full illustrator credit in the book (title page, social promos, website)
• A published portfolio piece you’ll be proud of

We’re Looking For:

• Clean, cartoony, expressive styles (think Pixar or premium kids’ books)
• Bright colors, bold personality, emotional clarity
• Someone who can illustrate from pre-existing character sketches and references
• Passion for storytelling and illustration (bonus: experience with children’s media)

Project Scope:

• Book 4-10books: ~16-20 illustrations (cover + pages) per book
• All final art delivered digitally in high-res
• Deadline: flexible, but ideally 4 weeks per book
