I'm looking to hire an artist to design a custom ritual symbol—a sigil that represents my solo music project, Ritual of Dissent. This won’t be a traditional logo, but rather a ceremonial mark used both as face paint and as a recurring symbol in the project’s visual identity.
About the project:
- Music blends black metal, goth rock, and synthwave
- Themes: urban decay, justified violence, collapse of meaning
- Persona: Shrieker Vellum, the Tongue of Ruin
The sigil will be used for:
- Face paint (over one eye)
- Album liners and merch
- Symbolic branding
What I need:
- A unique, intentional design (no AI or generic symbols)
- Something that can be simplified for face paint via stencil or brush, but visually rich
- Avoid horror clichés, pentagrams, or overt satanic imagery
- Delivered in high-res (PNG, transparent background preferred)
- Vector format is a bonus
