As we continue to build out our platform, we are seeking a sharp, reliable Legal Advisor to guide our legal framework and ensure compliance across key areas.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Legal Advisor who can assist with setting up and maintaining the legal structure of our app and operations. The ideal candidate has experience advising tech startups, particularly those in SaaS, e-commerce, and social platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and review legal documents, including:
- Terms of Service
- Privacy Policy
- User Agreements
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Independent Contractor Agreements
- Advise on intellectual property rights (trademarks, copyrights, etc.)
- Ensure platform compliance with international privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
- Provide legal input on revenue-sharing models and non-compete agreements
- Help establish risk management and legal best practices
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) or international law degree equivalent
- 2+ years of experience advising tech startups or mobile/web-based platforms
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and IP law
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver on time
- Familiarity with SaaS, social platforms, or marketplaces is a big plus
Compensation:
Contract-based, negotiable depending on experience and project scope.
