We areseeking a dependable research assistant to help identify upcoming youth and high school sports tournaments across the U.S. Focus areas include 7v7 football, basketball, volleyball, and other relevant competitive circuits. The goal is to maintain a running list of key events our team can target for media coverage and content planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research upcoming sports tournaments nationwide, with a focus on 7v7 football and other high-participation youth sports.
- Record key event details: dates, locations, host organizations, and any team or participant info available.
- Monitor tournament organizers, social media accounts, and websites for new announcements.
- Maintain and regularly update a master calendar of events.
- Deliver weekly reports or alerts on new tournaments as they are announced.
Qualifications:
- Strong internet and social media research skills.
- Familiarity with youth and high school sports circuits (e.g., Pylon, OT7, AAU, Club Volleyball) is a plus.
- Highly organized and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency.
