A YouTube video I saw in 2015 or 2016 featured a Caucasian man who believed he was the reincarnation of the first Chinese emperor. He describes his studies of daoism and daoist magic and at the end of the video he directs to his website. The cannot remember the website but it might of had the words purple, cloud, a number 1-10, temple.
Most of the video is the guy sitting on a couch with his wife. He had dark hair, not too long and a short beard. He also talks about going to a temple in China and speaking with some monks about "lightning writing" some kind of specific daoist writing for scrolls. I think his wife, also Caucasian, had light brown or blonde hair.
He also talks about in the training, he recieved, one of the last things they learn was how to astral project safely but he's met other people, maybe shamans in south America whom in their practice learn to astral project very early on in their training but it was considered dangerous because they had not learned any of the safety techniques.
I did look at the website where he offered online daoist training that was kind of pricey like 2k or maybe 1200.00 I can't remember exactly
The website is not purplecloudinstitute sounds almost right but I don't see the guy. A lot of websites have very similar names, which makes it harder.
This is all the information as long as I can remember.
